ALUMI-SHIELD is is the toughest of special
coatings. Originally developed to protect aluminum from pitting and
discoloration caused by wet mortar and other harsh elements during
construction, ALUMI-SHIELD
dries in a thin coating to great toughness.
ALUMI-SHIELD
provides maximum protection, against both acid and alkaline damage from
soot, dust, rain, water and sun for long periods. Withstands
weathering, saltspray, ultraviolet rays, humidity and oxidation. Resists
streaks and stains for years.
ALUMI-SHIELD
is transparent and high gloss, enhancing the natural beauty of the
material it is applied over. It does not distort or alter colored,
etched, or anodized aluminum and may be baked to enhance characteristics
and improve adhesion.
Physical
Properties....
ALUMI-SHIELD is easy to apply...the surface to be
coated must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any oily residue.
ALUMI-SHIELD
requires no special Primers to adhere to aluminum. Once applied, it
WILL NOT yellow, chip, peel or flake.
ALUMI-SHIELD
dries to the touch in just seconds, and will remain flexible for years.
Application may be made by dip, brush, soft cloth, or wet spray. Allow
36 to 72 hours for the first coat to cure before applying a second coat.
ALUMI-SHIELD
prevents oxidation after acid cleaning. When
cleaning with acid cleaners you open the surface of the metal to
oxidation within days.
ALUMI-SHIELD forms a new crystal clear
skin that will prevent the return of oxidation and staining for many
years.

and fiberglass manufactured products including: boats, pontoons, RV
trailers, marine fixtures, tank trailers, dump trailers, doors, windows,
vending equipment, aircraft products, and more!
ALUMI-SHIELD
may also be used on other nonferrous metals and on stainless steel (for
your own protection, we suggest that you do a test area on questionable
